This is my 365 project for 2013. It doesn't look like much right now but by the end of the year I'm hoping it will be filled with things that remind me of the year as a whole and of those individual moments, good and bad, that would otherwise be lost in the shuffle.
"My mother would never let the hearth die in her home," Margret said. She felt Agnes turn to look at her, but didn't meet her gaze. "She believed that as long as a light burned in the house, the Devil couldn't get in. Not even during the witching hour." Agnes was quiet. "What do you believe?" she asked eventually.
