I'll have a post up on the first describing more of what the project is, but right now I want to put up a couple of "practice entries" mostly because I want to play with my shiny new toy (blog layout <33) and also because it doesn't hurt to start a new project when the level of enthusiasm is somewhere north of ecstatic.
This is my 365 project for 2013. It doesn't look like much right now but by the end of the year I'm hoping it will be filled with things that remind me of the year as a whole and of those individual moments, good and bad, that would otherwise be lost in the shuffle. Mostly though I want a place that will remind me that while I'm in this (awkwardly) new phase of my life, I still have a life and I still do the things that I love, despite perhaps doing them a little less often than before.
I have a lot of things that I love, maybe someday soon I'll post a list of them, at least the ones that are likely show up on this blog. One of them, I will tell you now, is talking to myself, particularly if it involves rambling, which I'm doing now instead of telling you a bit about myself.
Present Self:
I'm Lisa. I was born, raised and currently live in New York (not the city). I recently moved back home to take on a full time job instead of sitting around watching tv and youtube vidoes, reading books, knitting, writing stories about beautiful things (eg. feelings), and cooking all day. Sometimes I miss those days, but I'm a sucker for routine, and working makes falling into a routine really easy. It also makes it really easy to let the things I love fall by the wayside. Currently I'm feeling bummed about that, but happy I'm making an effort to do something about it.
